"LABP Annual Father's Day Car Show. Last year's was amazing. What a turnout. It's coming up on Saturday, June 20th from 11-4pm this year. Vendors, Food Truck, Live Music, Beer and Wine plus a wide variety of car owners going after that trophy. Pleasants Landing is the perfect place for it. On the water at Lake Anna, which has a beach area and plenty of kayaking, paddle boarding, boat rentals all to add to an amazing family outing. Check it out. All proceeds going to the LABP Scholarship Fund supporting seniors in Louisa, Spotsylvania and Orange county."
"Great boat rental at a serene spot at Lake Anna! The staff was super nice and helped us a lot with our kayak rental. The price was also not bad at 15 an hour and 40 all day. One issue is that you do have to pay 5 for children, and 8 for adult for entry. This spot on the lake was also very beautiful. If you visit Lake Anna a boating adventure is a must!"
"I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case I feel it's only fair to be honest — 3 stars. Nature — 5/5. Lake — 5/5. Absolutely beautiful views, peaceful water, and overall a lovely natural setting. Service — 3/5. Territory — 3/5. We drove over an hour to get here and paid $8 per adult and $6 per child, expecting a comfortable place to relax. Unfortunately, several basic things were missing. There were no handwashing stations near the restrooms. The porta-potties were unbearable in the heat — the smell was overwhelming, and there was no place to wash your hands afterward, which is especially concerning when you're about to eat. There were also no drinking fountains — not even for kids to get a sip of water. And what’s worse, we saw many people entering and enjoying the area without paying, while we had paid for everyone in our group. So the question is: what exactly are we paying for? The place has great potential, but the current level of service doesn't match the entry fee. Hope this feedback helps improve things."
