"Attended the balloon fest Doswell, Va 2026 Price of admission $45-50 a person, parking was $5. There were 6 balloons there total. Food trucks were plentiful however the price of a turkey leg was $25 Kids bounce houses were additional cost. Not worth it in my opinion. I saw a lot of folks sitting in their car watching, which makes me think they were smart to only pay the $5 for parking and saw the balloons from there. Then it would be worth it."
"Ok so we just went to the Doswell light shows last night and I wanted to share our experience. I highly recommend it! My 1 and 2 year old loved it! We went on a Wednesday night and we got there right when it opened (opens at 5:30 we were there at 5:36). There was absolutely no line which surprised and was awesome. We went a little faster than I wanted it to (my husband drove and he wouldn't listen to me to slow down). I definitely recommend taking your time! At the end we went to the Santa workshop and there was so much for them to do! There were bounce houses, train rides, mechanical rides, pictures with Santa and more. The kids ran through everything and loved it! I highly recommend. Bring cash for the mechanical rides and definitely check out all the little booths with local businesses."
