The 2026 Louisa County Agricultural Fair
Program Details & Spotlights
Celebrating over 40 years of local heritage, the Louisa County Agricultural Fair brings together community spirit and agricultural excellence [1.2.3]. This exciting three-day event features vibrant 4-H livestock competitions, judged domestic arts displays, farm equipment shows, and classic carnival rides. Guests can enjoy mouthwatering regional food trucks and live mainstage music featuring folk group Out of Time, tribute act American Pride, and a headline performance by 90s country stars Little Texas on Saturday night.
For over four decades, the Louisa County Agricultural Fair has stood as a cornerstone of our community, offering a heartwarming bridge between the sparkling waters of Lake Anna and the rich farming heritage of the Virginia Piedmont. Held at the historic Elizabeth Trice Walton Park in the charming town of Mineral—just a fifteen-minute drive from the lake's southern shores—this beloved three-day celebration is where local families, lake visitors, and agricultural enthusiasts gather to honor our roots. The air fills with the irresistible scent of fresh funnel cakes and slow-smoked barbecue, punctuated by the nostalgic laughter of children on the midway and the gentle lowing of livestock.
At its core, the fair is a proud celebration of Louisa’s agricultural excellence and the hard work of our local youth. The 4-H livestock barns are bustling with energy as young farmers proudly showcase their prized cattle, goats, hogs, and poultry, competing for coveted blue ribbons after months of tireless dedication. Inside the exhibition halls, you will find a stunning showcase of domestic arts, from giant home-grown pumpkins and intricate handmade quilts to mouthwatering blue-ribbon pies and canned goods. It is a beautiful, tangible reminder of the self-reliance and creative spirit that still defines our rural Virginia home.
Beyond the agricultural traditions, this year's entertainment lineup brings an electric energy to Walton Park. Music lovers are in for a treat with a stellar mainstage lineup featuring local folk favorites Out of Time, the patriotic tribute act American Pride, and a massive Saturday night headlining performance by 90s country stars Little Texas. Imagine singing along to "God Blessed Texas" under the starlit Mineral sky, surrounded by neighbors and friends. Combined with classic carnival rides spinning late into the night, a fascinating display of vintage farm equipment, and a curated selection of regional food trucks, the 2026 fair promises to be an unforgettable highlight of the season.
