A portion of the proceeds directly benefits Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to abused and abandoned animals. - Arrive Early: Shannon Hill Road is a classic Virginia country road. Give yourself plenty of travel time to park, pick up your bib, and warm up before the 7:45 AM start gun. Aim to arrive by 7:00 AM.
