Annual LABP Father's Day Car Show, Contest & Festival
Program Details & Spotlights
Presented by the Lake Anna Business Partnership, this major lakeside celebration showcases an impressive collection of classic cars, vintage vehicles, custom builds, and modern show trucks competing for awards and cash prizes. The event doubles as an artisan vendor fair and outdoor live concert set against waterfront views of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west. Best of all, proceeds go directly toward funding higher education and career training scholarships for local students.
There is no better place to celebrate Dad than right here on the shores of Lake Anna, and the annual LABP Father’s Day Car Show & Festival has officially become one of our community's favorite lakeside traditions. Hosted at the scenic Pleasants Landing marina on the southeast end of the lake in Bumpass, this event perfectly captures the relaxed, family-first vibe that makes our region so special. As the morning sun reflects off the sparkling water, the park-like peninsula transforms into a sprawling showcase of chrome, horsepower, and nostalgia, backdropped by the distant, beautiful silhouette of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west.
Car enthusiasts will find themselves in absolute heaven wandering through rows of impeccably restored classics, rumbling muscle cars, unique custom builds, and massive modern show trucks. What makes this show truly stand out is the passion of the participants. You’ll find local collectors and regional travelers alike, more than happy to pop the hood, swap restoration stories, and share the history behind their prized vehicles. With various competitive categories, cash prizes, and coveted trophies on the line, the competition is friendly but fierce, making the afternoon award ceremony a true highlight of the day.
But don't let the words "car show" fool you—this is a full-blown community festival designed for the entire family. While Dad is admiring a vintage engine, the rest of the crew can explore a vibrant marketplace filled with local artisans, craft makers, and delicious food vendors. A live outdoor concert will keep the energy high all afternoon, providing the perfect soundtrack for a sunny day by the water. Best of all, this spectacular day out supports an incredible cause. Organized by the Lake Anna Business Partnership, all proceeds from the event go directly toward funding higher education and vocational career training scholarships for deserving local students.
