Program Details & Spotlights
Bring Dad and the entire family to beautiful Pleasants Landing for an incredible afternoon filled with classic cars, custom builds, muscle cars, trucks, antiques, and specialty vehicles, all set against the scenic backdrop of Lake Anna. In addition to the judged car show and trophy presentations, guests can browse local food trucks, shop at the artisan craft market, and enjoy live music performances right next to the beach. This major community gathering is hosted by the Lake Anna Business Partnership, with proceeds supporting local student scholarships.
There is no better place to celebrate Father’s Day than right here on the shores of Lake Anna. The annual LABP Father's Day Car Show & Contest at Pleasants Landing has quickly become one of our community's most anticipated kickoff events of the summer. Located on the southern end of the lake in Bumpass, Pleasants Landing offers a stunning 360-degree peninsula view that perfectly frames rows of gleaming chrome, custom paint jobs, and meticulously restored vintage rides. Whether your dad is a die-hard gearhead or just enjoys a relaxing afternoon by the water, this event delivers the perfect lakeside vibe.
The show features an incredible variety of vehicles, ranging from rumbling American muscle cars and pristine classic hot rods to rare imports, custom overland trucks, and unique specialty builds. Local collectors and enthusiasts from all over Virginia roll in early to polish their fenders, eager to swap restoration stories with attendees. As you stroll along the grassy waterfront, you’ll hear the gentle lap of the waves mixed with the classic rock tunes drifting from the live music stage right next to the beach area. It is a feast for the senses that captures the laid-back, welcoming spirit of Lake Anna.
Beyond the horsepower, this event is a full-scale community festival. The Lake Anna Business Partnership (LABP) curates an awesome lineup of local food trucks serving up everything from smoky Virginia BBQ to sweet treats, alongside an artisan market featuring handmade goods from local crafters. It is a fantastic opportunity to support our local economy while finding a unique Father's Day gift. Best of all, the entire event is driven by a great cause, with proceeds directly funding scholarships for deserving local high school students. It’s an afternoon of fun that leaves a lasting positive impact on our lakeside community.
